Yule blessings 2019~ end of year thoughts

I am blessed and thankful for those around me that have not only become friends over the years, but like family to me as well.I usually keep certain personal things to myself. As I do not wish for and pity party as it might be labeled as to some. I am just merely wanting to post how blessed I feel as this past week especially.  The love and support I have been shown by the #spnfamily when I first got to setting out to edit my first big book back in 2015, around the time I lost someone close to suicide. Convincing me to join twitter (the cookies have been fantastic on the twitterside ;) ) Helping me get the editing and finally getting their hope published. Encouraging my writings, when others on homefront may not have been as supportive. Leading to today. You've stuck by my side all these years. New and old alike. I've found beautiful and talented souls in the process that also share my love of words and songs in my travels along these years♡ and I thank them deeply for sti...

Blizzard of 78 article from lake 940 webster

Remembering The Blizzard Of 1978 – 40 Years Later February 5, 2018 http://lake940.com/remembering-the-blizzard-of-1978-40-years-later/ This week, residents of Webster (who are old enough) will remember exactly where they were 40 years ago.  February 6th and 7th, 1978 when the “Great Blizzard of ’78” hit New England.  It paralyzed the area for days, some places for weeks.  Cars were stranded on Routes 395 and 290.  Since then, it is the storm that all other snowstorms have been measured up to, and one of the main reasons we  still  go to the store to buy bread and milk if we hear the “S” word in the forecast to this very day. The official numbers at Worcester Airport measured 20.2 inches of snow, but there were other reports from nearby cities and towns of as much as 38 inches in Woonsocket, RI and as much as 55 inches in Lincoln, RI.  Some drifts were reported to be as high as 27 feet! Boston received a record-breaking 27.1 inches and...

Candles 16 nov 2019

Image
As I'm meditating after my normal with my candles upon my altar... I'm looking up red and violet as those 2 colors are going slowly in their burning. I have the roygbiv along with black and whit at either end of the candle row. They get lit in order. One by one. And I try to let them burn down completely.  Well, the moon and fairy fantasy flavors of the essence sticks are nearing their ends, the smoke strong and swirling as they usually love to be. The green holder cracks with a loud, distinct sound. Red- stands for lust, strength, and courage. Violet/ purple- power, spirit and wisdom The green that broke clearly wanted me to know-wealth, fertility, ambition,  and luck As of 9 pm~ Red and yellow still burning 10 pm~ Red still going strong yet fading... 842 am~ Red still burning! How crazy. Lol.

27 jan 2020 Stay She will never say it out loud. She will always put others needs Before her very own. Caring, loving, understanding  Always she tries to be.  She will lay awake Endless and sleepless nights; Alone in her thoughts Alone in her pain. Wishing she knew the words To send things away. Endless restless nights Until they suddenly become dawn Wishing for someone to hear her cry Deep within her own soul As she tends to them all. She will never say it out loud No matter how much  she screams it inside. She will always be the one To remain helping others She wishes she knew the words To fix it all. She will shed the silent tears forevermore; Awake and alone She shall feel doomed to be Wishing someone will But she will never say the word Stay

new poem~ dripping blood 4 july 2019

Image
Dripping blood The roses on this side of the mirror are not red; They are black as the darkest night instead. They absorb all that comes near their beds. As they blossom and grow, a river forms below; Of the blood that drips from their tips of red. Alice sits and wonders just how this is so. On the grass before them, staring deep into their blackness; She tries to make sense of all that is different. Nothing is the same in the dark mirror. But these flowers that bloom always here, Are of her most current concern. They always seem to drip from their tips of red, The black petals never withering away. As she steps closer one quiet day. She peeks around to see who is abound Before she steps into the flowing river below her toes. She brings her face as close as she dares To have the blossoms barely touching her nose. She looks deep upon these roses long and hard; Before realizing fast the tips that drip before her eyes Are in fact, truly drip...

new poem 4 July 2019

Image
The Dark Mirror She stands before the tall thing of wood and glass. The reflection back at her, is not of her own; But of what might be, dark and deep. She stares back at herself; her other, darker self. She stands before the solid wood frame, And places her hand lovingly along the side. As though she is in a trance. It calls to her to come inside. Forget all that is, forget all that once was. She could escape for a short while. But would they really notice, If she was to disappear into the dark realm? Alice could just go slip inside for a short while. It would not be very long, she promised her mind. Just long enough to forget all that has come to be. She would lay among the blackest of flowers And sing along to their sad, woeful laments. She knows of those songs all too well. She caresses the ornate carvings along the frame, Debating more with her brain. She could sit with the mad hatter and the march hare; Share in their lovely littl...

NEW POETRY ~ 27 AUGUST 2019

Image
ŋɛῳ ℘ơɛɱ Ⱥʍօղց Ӏąѵҽղժҽɾ The moon shines pale Hanging high above As she steps out in the fields Fragrant lavender flows into her nose. Sheer blue dress Hangs upon her silken skin. She floats to the middle Playing her fingers Along the delicate flowers. She breathes in deep As she closes her eyes. Smiling as she loses herself in the smell. She begins to twirl Dancing in the flowers Under sweet moonlight. The stars show themselves Revealing to her their brilliance. She opens her arms wide As sheer blue scarves float around Tilting her head to the heavens The stars fall gracefully around her. Her dress now shimmering In the starlight Dancing around her. The lavender shimmers in starlight. She twirls playfully in the flowers The sweet lavender rising up As the stars sparkle bright. She feels a hand upon her waist She spins slowly around To welcome her lovers arms. They stand and kiss Among starlight, moo...
